Last Updated on October 12, 2021 Reading the James Patterson books in lodge means delighting in his popular Alex Cantankerous mystery serial. Of course, the writer has written several other series including his Women'southward Murder Guild and the Michael Bennett series, but nothing comes shut to Alex Cross by far. This might change with a newer James Patterson series, Ali Cross, featuring the adventures of Alex'southward son, Ali.

Here are all the James Patterson books in order for all his criminal offense/mystery/thriller series, listed in chronological and reading society, with the year added for each book.

Alex Cantankerous Series In Lodge Of Publication

The Alex Cross series is so popular that I accept dedicated a separate folio only for this particular series, not simply listing the books in lodge, only too discussing a scrap near the books. With over 20 books published so far, at that place are lots of books to grab up to if you are new to the Alex Cantankerous universe.

To not clutter the list on both pages, since the Alex Cross list of books is pretty long, I take added a separate folio for it.

I'thou certain that everyone has their ain list of what they consider the all-time books by James Patterson, but in that location are a few that I have noticed lots of readers (including me) dearest in a higher place all.

I think Along Came a Spider, the first book in the Alex Cross series, is a favorite overall for many. Also, Showtime to Dice, the offset book in the Women's Murder Club is usually in the top 5 books of virtually Patterson book lovers.

James Patterson himself considers his book The Black Book, ane of his best past far. In an interview in 2017, he mentioned that "information technology is the best work I've done in twenty years."

Osculation the Girls, the second Alex Cross book, is pretty darn good too. I remember reading information technology back in the day, and it was one of the books that got me hooked on this crime mystery writer.

On Goodreads, some readers consider The Angel Experiment (the get-go book in the Maximum Ride serial) every bit one of the summit choices to start reading the author'due south books with.

My personal 5 favorites in any reading order y'all choose are:

  1. Along Came a Spider
  2. Kiss the Girls,
  3. When the Wind Blows,
  4. 1st to Die
  5. Craddle and All

If you are a criminal offense mystery book lover, I strongly recommend (if you haven't already done and then) the following series: Alex Cross, Women's Murder Order, Michael Bennett and Private, NYPD Ruby-red and even Maximum Ride, which is a dystopian, sci-fi immature developed thriller series. His latest serial is evolving around Luc Moncrief, a French detective who joined NYPD. These are serial that volition proceed you reading for ages.
